IT STARTED IN OMI’S PLAYROOM.
My grandmother, who we called Omi, introduced us to the game my great-grandfather invented in Germany.
My four brothers, our friends and whoever was around would gather in her playroom to play. It didn’t matter how old you were. Everyone could join in, and everyone wanted to win.
We’ve been playing it for over 20 years. I’ve seen strangers make friends over it and grown men jump around the room.
A NEW CHAPTER.
I’m Christina von Schmieder, and together with my family, I’m bringing Marbelo to life.
We’ve taken the original concept and modernised it, keeping the play that has brought our family together for years.
Our first production table is now in development. We’re excited to share something that has been part of our family for so long and see other families and friends make it their own.
